Annual Reporting Revolutionized by Booklet Quoting System

From PRWeb:

custom printingAnnual report printing got easier and more affordable today with the use of a preconfigured instant quoting system on PrintNinja.com. In addition to the regular 30-70 per cent savings for customers who use the printing services broker, cost-effective options have been preset into the website’s online booklet printing quoting tool.

An example of these preconfigured options is the choice of pages in multiples of four, as well as optimum paper selection for the project. “Financial reporting is a huge expense for our clients who are publicly traded or who voluntarily publish their financial statements, such as non-profits,” explained PrintNinja CEO, Russell Potterfield. The system is meant to allow organizations to focus more on the content of the report than the logistics of how it will be printed. “Our printed products also come with a 100 per cent satisfaction guarantee.”

PrintNinja encourages organizations to visit their website with the specifications of their last years report to instantly see the difference in pricing. The company, which specializes in high-quantity projects, offers a number of shipping options so that organizations can ensure they meet the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) deadline for reporting.

Although a large number of organizations are looking to save money by publishing their annual reports online, the SEC requires that reports be formatted for both online and print. Additionally, print copies must be made available upon request of shareholders.

As a leader in online print brokering, PrintNinja understands the importance of using ePublishing and print publishing together as a strategic method of reaching a large audience. The company knows that ePublishing will not be taking over the custom printing industry any time soon. “Annual reports are one of those things that people still appreciate getting in the mail, holding, and browsing through,” said Potterfield, “A well published report may be kept around for years.”

About Vinyl Banners

vinyl banner, online printing, business printing, custom printingRaynold Oscars brings us this interesting article about Vinyl Banners:

Vinyl Banners are an extremely way to advertise a person’s event or business. Large format advertising such as with banners has been around for a very long time. But, the technology behind the high quality, wide format signs and banners that are printed digitally is a somewhat recent technology that permits printing business companies to get rather creative with their advertising.

This custom printing in wide format printing is much the same as the technology that is used by regular desktop ink jet printers. But, the difference is that the wide format printers are approximately between 36 degrees to more than 100 degrees wide and can print a considerable amount of vinyl material or banners in a short amount of time.

As a result of this new technology, you need to ensure that you ask your banner or signage companies if they’re still using the older technology of plotted vinyl or if they can print in full color. Plotted vinyl banners are made using real vinyl which is cut and affixed to the material that the banner is made from. This will significantly limit the combinations of colors that can be used and quality the banners. Full color printers can match cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK), and can print the regular characters and text in addition to full color pictures and logos, where plotted vinyl banners are only have fixed colors.

In addition, plotted vinyl isn’t used much anymore. Plotted vinyl is still used for some characters and text on some banners, character based signs, and yard signs, but most banner companies use the technology for full color technology for more than 95 percent of their jobs. However, many banner companies also have plotters for contour stickers and cut labels. These plotters are usually have an optical eye which can make nearly perfect cut for their customer’s labels and stickers.

Interesting fact of Postcards.

Pioneer Era, 1870-1898

That’s the name of the first postcard printed on America with pictures on it. These were the first postcards to have illustrated messages like this one has. Back on those days this type of cards were not commercially produced. They were called “pioneers”. This old postcard was sold on London for a record amount of £31,750. According to postal historian Edward Proud this amount is a record for a postcard.

It caricatures the postal service by showing post office “scribes” sitting around an enormous inkwell.
